Support for Young Onset Dementia
Pathways is a support group for those affected by young onset dementia (also known as working-age dementia) in the Bradford District.
We meet on the second Thursday of each month from 6.00 – 8.00pm at the University of Bradford and provide information, contact, and support in a non-judgmental, supportive, fun environment. We have regular speakers and activities as well as a chance to chat to others in a similar situation. We also have social outings and an annual supported holiday.
We particularly want to influence service providers in Bradford who are ‘stuck in their old ways’. We also want to influence the Dementia Strategy Board in Bradford and feel we (people with dementia and their families) have more of an equal say.
